BENNINGTON PLANNING BOARD
Notice is hereby given in accordance with RSA 676:4 & 675:7 that an application for a Minor Subdivision and an application for Site Plan Review – both filed by Bennington DG, LLC – will be submitted to the Planning Board on April 10, 2017 at 7:10 p.m. at the Bennington Town Hall during a regular meeting of the Board. The subject parcel is identified as Tax Map 16, Lot 2 located on Route 202 within the Rural/Agricultural Zone.
Applicant proposes to subdivide an approximately 2.58± acre lot from the parcel for the construction of a 9,100± square foot Dollar General retail store and associated site improvements.
Upon a finding by the Board that the applications meet the Subdivision Regulations and the Site Plan Review Regulations, the Board will vote to accept the application/s as complete and a Public Hearing on the merits of the proposal/s will follow immediately.
Should a decision not be reached at the Public Hearing, the Application/s will stay on the Planning Board agenda until such time as they are either approved or disapproved. Anyone needing assistance to attend this meeting should contact the Selectmen’s Office one week prior to the scheduled date.

Effective immediately: Per RSA 227-L17 Burn Permits Required. Every person, firm or corporation who kindles or causes to be kindled any fire or burns or causes to be burned any material except when the ground is covered with snow, shall obtain a written fire permit from the Forest Fire Warden in the town or city where the fire will be kindled. Violators are guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $2000 and/or up to one year in jail, or both.
