Ice Skating Rink

Through the efforts of volunteer Mike Roina, an ice skating rink will be installed at Sawyer Park for the enjoyment of our residents and taxpayers. A community skate day is tenatively scheduled for January 14, 2012. Volunteers to assist with the construction and eventual maintenance of the rink are being sought. Please notify Town Hall staff of your interest.

The goal of the Bennington Recreation Committee is to bring Bennington together as a community. To do this, we need everyone to participate! We live in a great town with lots of stories and big belly laughs.

Past activities include:

• Hammy Down Days (clothing swap)
• Care packages for local soldiers
• Painting classes
• Swim lessons
• Pumpkin carving and scarecrows
• Christmas parties
• Easter egg hunt
• Annual Andy Mackenzie Fishing Derby
• Summer Fun Festival
