ELECTRONICS RECYCLING PROGRAM

In response to the passage of House Bill 1455 and in an effort to save on disposal costs, the Solid Waste Committee has created an Electronics Recycling Program where patrons pay to dispose of office and communication devices and small entertainment electronic devices. Effective July 1, 2007 the following fee schedule applies:

Computers and Laptops
$10
Flat-Screen/Slim-Line Computer Monitors
$5
Analog Computer Monitors
$10
Fax Machines, Copiers, Scanners
$3
Stereo Equipment, Radios, VCRs, DVD players
$3
TVs under 19"
$5
TVs over 19"

Since it opened in 1992, the Bennington Transfer Station has been recognized by the State’s Solid Waste Officials as one of New Hampshire’s cleanest and most efficient facilities!

You, as residents, have earned at least a part of that honor by the manner in which you have used the service and your care in recycling material there. We thank you!

We, and the Selectmen, are pledged to sustaining the good record of the past decade. We invite you to share your thoughts and concerns at any time.
